Track on Thursday is as follows:
200m (3k pace) [200m recovery], 400m (5k pace) [2 min rest], 800m (10k pace) [2 min rest], 1200 (10mi) [2 min rest] 1600m (HM) [3 min rest], 1200 (10mi) [2 min rest], 800m (10k pace) [2 min rest], 400m (5k pace) [2 min rest], 200m (3k pace) [200m recovery]. Total 6800 hard Beginners do 200, 400, 800, 400, 200
Notes: If you're coming to the 7:20 session then please come warmed up, there will not be two sets of warm ups.
Track Rules:
You must follow all the coaches' instructions on social distancing.
If you are showing coronavirus symptoms you must not attend track.
You must follow government guidance and self-isolate. You should obtain a coronavirus test and inform welfare@chaser.me.uk if you have a positive test.
Please bring your own water bottle. There may now be a place to fill your bottle at the track. Water fountains are also operating on the Heath. You can find a full risk assessment here.
Track sessions are free to club members. You can obtain a £5 temporary membership if you wish to try the club out.
General Track Etiquette
Run anticlockwise in lane 1.
Overtake on the outside. Stay in lane 1 if someone is overtaking.
Do not cross the throws area.
No headphones.
Do not run two abreast.
