Beachy Head Marathon : Beachy Head Marathon 2023 (eventrac.co.uk)
The country's premier trail marathon - just over an hour from London. Over a 1,000 runners. Route follows the South Downs' way out of Eastbourne, drops down to the coast, then along the Seven Sisters and past Beachy Head to a downhill finish back in Eastbourne. Given the 3,500 feet of ascent don't expect a PB. If you are thinking about running your first trail marathon, (and if you are not - why aren't you?!?), this one is thoroughly recommended.
