Track on Thursday is as follows:
Oregon circuits - 400m fast followed by circuit exercises for 20 secs as called by the coach, e.g., squats, push ups, burpees, squat thrusts, lunges, plank, sit ups, high kness, leg raises. 25 min total duration.
Track Rules during Coronavirus times:
Although lockdown rules have been eased, the following courtesies remain unchanged.
You must book a slot using our calendar before coming to track. If you have not booked you will be asked to leave.
You must follow all the coaches' instructions on social distancing.
If you are showing coronavirus symptoms you must not attend track.
You must follow government guidance and self-isolate. You should obtain a coronavirus test and inform firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a positive test.
Please bring your own water bottle. There may now be a place to fill your bottle at the track. Water fountains are also operating on the Heath. You can find a full risk assessment here.
Please wear a mask when using any if the indoor facilities.
Track sessions are free to club members. You can obtain a £5 temporary membership if you wish to try the club out.
General Track Etiquette
Run anticlockwise in lane 1.
Overtake on the outside. Stay in lane 1 if someone is overtaking.
Do not cross the throws area.
Do not run two abreast.
