Sarah's Battersea 24hr attempt

Date: Sat 21 September 2024
Time: 12:00

I'm going to be running around the Battersea Millennial Park track for 24 hrs, starting on Saturday, Sept 21st at 12pm. I'm looking for volunteers to help crew me over the 24-hr period. I will aim to be self-sufficient throughout the night, but if you'd like to come down and help me in the middle of the night, that would be very cool too :) I plan to repay everyone's efforts with a pizza gathering at some point (pending survival). In the sign-up comments, let me know when you might be able to come down and I'll start putting together a handy spreadsheet. Thank you!!

Description

Parkland setting , undulating course with one steep climb per large lap on grass and woodland paths. The grass in the start /finish area may not have been cut and will therefore be quite long. This may restrict the ability of clubs to put up their small tents and generally limit the space in the area. The running surface will therefore not be ideal.

One small lap, 1500 metres.

U13 course

Two small laps 3000 metres.

U15/U17 course

One small, one large lap 4200 metres.
