Kit swap is back!! - Rebecca Taylor Dear Chasers, Lauren Longhurst and I are organising a kit swap at Tuesday Talacre on 11th April. It’s a lovely, sustainable way to pass on or acquire kit for free. Bring in good condition wearable running gear you’re happy to pass on. Take running gear you’re happy to wear! Start spring summer 23 with a fresh new look. You can take any kit you like for free and you don’t need to bring some to get some. We will also be collecting voluntary (not compulsory) contributions which will be spread across the charities of any Chasers raising money in a spring marathon this year. Here's the feedback from participants: 'I LOVED the beginners running class! Romany was an amazing leader - incredibly encouraging and just a joy to be around, which made showing up on cold January evenings enjoyable' 'The beginners group was kind and social. Romany was a great leader and the transition to Phil's group has been smooth and thoughtful' 'Nick, Sophie and Eamon are worth their weight in gold - they have been so supportive' 'The club should pat itself on the back for creating such a great opportunity for all walks of life' Getting this feedback into my inbox was all such a joy to read. Massive thanks to Romany O'Dell, Eamon Byrne, Sophie Fenner, Nick Claydon, Phil West - and anyone else who helped to continue the fabulous work of this programme - not least all the Beginners who are now fully fledged members of our wonderful club Running Tracks What do you like to listen to when you’re running? The seminal film ‘Dance Craze’ has just been re released and the soundtrack is immense. It’s a perfect soundtrack for pounding the pavements on your Sunday long run.
