Race Recap
What a weekend just gone for the Chasers! Kicking off with a very muddy looking cross country at Parliament Hill. There was some great running on the day and some epic scenery
The following day a busload of Chasers made the annual trek north to St Neot’s. It’s a beautiful place and a great course but it’s annoying when you tell people you are running in St Neot’s and everybody thinks you’re making the place up. Perfect running conditions on the day as well as a coach that actually turned up meant that Chasers began the race in high spirits with an air of excitement descending on that part of England between Peterborough and Cambridge and kind of near Bedford. There was an air of nervous energy similar to a Harry Kane ankle scan as we set off into the northern sunshine ready to tackle the hills, smelly fields and bored cub scouts of Abbotsley.
Some time later Chasers returned to London with a bagful of PBs, sore legs and smiles.
Well done to the Chaser women for finishing first place
Big up to the Chaser dudes for finishing second
