London Marathon
It's the day you've been waiting for. No, not Taylor Swift's album, that's not until the 21st. London Marathon day is this Sunday!
Cheer squad assemble! We will be returning to our regular spot just after the 13 mile/22 mile point. That’s right we will see the awesome Chaser runners twice on Sunday both in the 20 mile warm up and just after the final 6.2 mile race begins! Make sure to warm up your vocal chords and get ready to make lots of noise.
There is a large Talacre of Chasers running the marathon on Sunday. Big shout out to:

Regent’s Park 10k – Phil West
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the 2 October race, but the rest of the series is going ahead. The
races are on Sundays 6 November, 4 December, 8 January, 5 February and 5 March, all at 0900.
To enter, see the 10K tab on the website, or go direct to: https://events.kronosports.uk/event/124
New things this year:
1. Discounts are available for multiple entries.
2. Sign up to marshal a race on the Calendar, and you will receive a code to enter one of the
other races free.
3. There is a relay option for 2/3 runners if 10K sounds too far.
4. Slower runners are welcome, and Phil West has offered to run round at a 12-minute mile
pace (75 minutes) with any slower runner who wants some company.
5. Each race medal will be different, featuring one of the zoo animals on the race logo.
