London Marathon This Sunday we will be cheering our runners in the London Marathon at our usual cheering point from 8am onwards. It's near Tower Bridge at 13 mile/22 mile point. The precise location of our cheering point is on The Highway near the junction with Cannon Street Road opposite the BP garage and drive-thru McDonald's. Bring food and clothing according to the weather. Volunteers Needed: It is particularly important to get a good gathering of sharp elbowed supporters early on as there is a lot of competition for space. We need a few people to arrive around 8am to put up the Chasers banner and generally mark out territory. If you're willing to do this, please let the committee know at committee@chaser.me.uk In the evening, we're off to the Pineapple near Kentish Town station to celebrate everyone's successes with beer and Thai food from 6pm. Chingford League Race 2- XC Central Park Dagenham Cross country (XC) at Dagenham Central Park this Saturday. Deadline to sign up is today (click here). The organisers say it's quite a nice course and a great way to get back into XC. Track Thursday Tonight's track session is 10-12x {400m (10k pace) [400m jog recovery]} Total: 4000-4800m hard, 4000-4800m recovery. Click here to sign up. Autumn Beginners Jump for joy, we’ve now confirmed all new runners onto our Autumn Beginners course - starting on 5th October. Anyone joining the waitlist will now have to wait until 2022 for a place. It’s never to early to get on the list - there are already names on it. Friendly reminder to please sign up to our volunteering if you fancy supporting beginners. We’ve extended runner numbers this time, so volunteers are all the more needed.
