Chase-Go!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our first Chase-Go challenge. 33 of you signed up to chase the ultimate Chase-Go crown or to offer yourself to be collected. It was fun to see all of your photos, PBs, fancy dress and buddy-ups.
The results are being verified by the judges and winners will be crowned shortly. Congratulations to Simon Fitzmaurice who was the first Chaser to call 'Chase-Go!' with full house, closely followed by Lizzy Muggeridge and Kat Atkinson. More winners coming soon...
Track Thursday
The coached session at Parliament Hill Track on Thursday is as follows:
3x (600m @5k [200m jog recovery], 400m @3k [200m jog recovery], 200m @1mile [200m jog recovery])
There are two time slots, 19:00 and 19:15. You must book a slot before attending. Click here for the sign up page and more information.
Christmas Day Spectacular
Take part in the Mornington Chasers' Christmas Day Spectacular!
You will have 60 minutes to find landmarks around Hampstead Heath and complete a number of challenges. You will be in groups of three or four. The first group back to have completed the most landmarks and challenges will be crowned the victors.
We are encouraging Chasers to bring a secret santa present to swap with another Chaser - the prize should be something in your home that you are desperate to get rid off (so probably no toilet paper).
The map of landmarks and challenges will be released closer to the event. There will be a one point penalty for every five minutes over the cut off point.
Click here for the sign up page.
Workout of the Week
It’s getting colder out there so make sure you have enough time to do a proper warm up. This could include 10-15 mins jogging and some drills and strides too.
3- 4x (3 min, 2 min, 1 min)
Recovery: 1min jog between reps, 2min jog between sets
Pace: 3 mins @ 5k pace
2 mins @ 3k pace
1 min @ mile pace
If you’re new to intervals definitely only do 3 sets and you could also walk the recovery. Don’t forget a cool down jog too.
You could post your workout on the calendar as we can now run in groups of up to 6. Please follow the coronavirus guidance as usual.
Any questions please ask

Festive Photos Competition

Congratulations to Dan Biagi for completing an unplanned marathon in 2h42m at the weekend. He only decided to give it a go on Thursday. A fantastic effort!
