Summer League.
Summer League’s second virtual fixture takes place from 13th to 19th July. You have a week to record a 5 mile time and a 400m relay time. Ideally record your run using a GPS watch, but if you don't have one, just do your best as this year's summer league is run on trust.
Children can take part in the Tenderfoot race. They need to run a mile and 400m for the relay. Nieces, nephews, children’s friends are all welcome to take part!
In the true spirit of summer league, don’t forget to tag @morningtonchasers and @thesummerleaguelondon in your picnic and baking photos!

Online Fitness Classes.
Classes for this week are listed below, connection details will be shared on Facebook in advance.
Strength and Conditioning lead by Nicola – Wednesday 8 July - 19:00
Dance Class lead by Alicia – Friday 10 July - 18:30 - Final session
Pilates lead by Danielle - Monday 13 July - 18:00
Strength and Conditioning sessions will continue on Wednesdays during July with the final session taking place on the 29th July. The last dance class will be Friday 10 July. A massive thank you to Nicola and Alicia for leading these fantastic sessions!
Structured Training.
We are on week five of our structured training plan. Sessions are listed below and are all time based so provide access and benefit for all club members.
Tuesday (10m to HM) Thursday (5k-10k) Long Run
Week 1: 3 x 5mins [90s] 12 x 90s [2min] 70 min
Week 2: 3 x 6mins [75s] 8 x 2mins [2min] 75 min
Week 3: 2 x 10mins [75s] 6 x 3mins [2mins] 80 min
Week 4: 3 x 8mins [75s] 4 x 4mins [3mins] 85 min
*Week 5: 3 x 10mins [75s] 3 x 6mins [4mins] 90 min*
Please ensure that we continue to follow the government's guidelines on social distancing and above all stay safe.
5k Booster and Cyber Parkrun Reminder.
Just a little reminder that our lovely coaches have put together a 5K booster programme for beginners graduates and there are two 'cyber parkrun' events in the calendar in August and September. These virtual 5k events take place over a week and are open to everyone! Please join-in to support our beginners graduates and all Chasers who are returning to running following a break. Any questions, please ask Laurie.

Cyber event 2 - 5K - any time between Monday 31st August to Sunday 6th Sept
