Along with our 5K booster programme for beginners graduates, we've put two 'cyber parkrun' events in the calendar in August and September. These virtual 5k events take place over a week and are open to everyone. Please join-in to support our beginners graduates and all Chasers who are returning to running following a break. As lockdown is easing, we've decided to draw our Friday Swing dance classes to a close. There will be two more classes of Friday 3rd July and Friday 10th July. We'll learn one more routine on the 3rd. The 10th will be a chance to run through our Greatest Hits one more time. Alicia will provide some links for everyone who wants to find a way to keep dancing.
A huge thank you to Alicia for all the effort she has put in to create such enjoyable classes for such incompetent dancers. It's been great fun.
There will be no strength and conditioning session with Nicola this Thursday (2 July). From next week (8 July), strength and conditioning sessions will take place on Wednesdays. This is to make it easier for us to return to our regular routine of Tuesday and Thursday sessions - although we do not know when our usual group training will be resumed. Connection details for the online classes can be found on the Facebook page.
We are on week four of our structured training plan. Sessions are listed below and are all time based so provide access and benefit for all club members.
