Thank you to everyone who completed our coronavirus survey last week. The executive summary is that everyone wants to say a big thank you to Danielle, Nicola and Alicia for leading online sessions. Follow this link for more details on the survey results.
This week’s Fartlek session set by coach Donal is just over an hour for the whole session. Donal has suggested that early morning is the best for this session as it's much quieter and you also won't have to deal with as much heat.
*Warm up (lunges, butt kicks, high knees and some hip mobility)
*10 x 2 minutes at a hard effort (10k pace) with 2 minute jog recovery between each rep
(The full 10 minutes isn't a must so feel free to do as little or as many as you like and don't be concerned about hitting exact paces just go off your effort level, especially if you're doing this later in the day)
*Cool down 15 minutes
The download is the same type as before; a Garmin*fit file that can be dropped into your workout folder on your watch.
Please ensure that we all follow the government's guidelines on social distancing and stay safe.
