Southern Athletics League
Spring is on the way which means it will soon be time for the Southern Athletics league! Fixtures are listed in the calendar and more information including timetables can be found here. All are welcome to take part and earn points for the team, and it’s a great way to test your speed or to try some new field events. Following the success of the collaboration last year we are again teaming up with Highgate Harriers. Get in touch with Lauren if you have any questions.
Cabbage patch is back
As you may have heard, the Cabbage Patch 10mile is back on track. We will have both this and St Neots half marathon as club championship races later in the year. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates of when entries for these are open.
Tuesday runs
A reminder to all that anyone can lead a run of any distance and at any pace that they like on Tuesdays. No special expertise is required, you just need to have a route in mind! If you want some route inspiration we have some great suggestions here. Having a good range of paces and distances available on a Tuesday is very important for the club, particularly for our newer members. So if you find your preferred run is not covered already, please feel free to step up and lead a run yourself, you’ll always find lots of others happy to join you!
