Mornington Chasers Newsletter
19 February 2019
London Marathon drinks station
Every year, the Mornington Chasers organise one of the elite drinks tables at the London Marathon, in exchange for places in the race. We need Chasers to volunteer to help out between 7am and around 11am/12pm on the day. We'll be based just after Tower Bridge and just before the half way mark. It's an early start but lots of fun and a unique perspective on this amazing event.

Beer Mile
Our club annual beer mile is on Thursday 28th at Regents park track (no track training session scheduled that day), so sign up and make your donation soon if you would like to take part!
This year our nominated charity is the Chalk Farm Foodbank. Donations should be made here (you don’t need to run to donate!) https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/chasersmile2019
We need volunteers to help out so if you don’t fancy competing but can help on the day let us know.
More details and link to the full international beer mile rules are available via the sign up link in the calendar below.
Supporting Charities
If you're taking part in any running event on a charity place, or are making the most of a Chaser event place by raising money for a good cause, then let us know and we'll promote your giving page in our newsletter.

We are still taking entries for the Masters Middlesex & Herts Champs on Sunday 3rd March in Trent Park. The club pays the entry fee so please only sign up if you are sure you can make it. As it is a vet championship, only ladies aged 35+ and men 40+ can run. Please use the link in the calendar below.
Club survey results
Thanks to all of you who completed the 2018 club survey, and sorry you had to wait so long for the results. We’re pleased to report high levels of satisfaction! Please see here for a summary:
