Lakeland trails We've had a great response already to our trip away in May to the Lakeland trails event, with 13 people already signed up. There are still a few places on the trip, with options available from 5 to 17k, so open to all! Only a £50 deposit is needed to secure your place. Any questions please ask Dave Nelson. Training schedules The coaches have prepared three marathon schedules (London, Brighton, and Manchester) and a half marathon schedule, available on our website to help you with your spring training. For new (and old!) members, keep in mind track sessions on Thursdays are open to all abilities!  Keep an eye on the Facebook page where the details of the weekly track session will be posted in advance. Cross country Saturday was the Met League Wormwood Scrubs fixture, which had a record turnout for the league (293 women and 547 men). The conditions were great for a flat fast run, dry and not much mud. Well done to Fiona Russell and John Armstrong, first chasers to finish. The next XC fixtures will be considerably more hilly! The Southern championship will be at Parliament Hill on Saturday 26th January (if you’ve missed the sign up to run already, it will be a great one for spectators too). The final Met League of the season will be at Ally Pally on Saturday 9th February so there’s still a chance to earn some points for the teams (everyone who runs earns points). Currently, the veteran women are placed 8th/10 teams (second division) and the veteran men are 4th/23 teams (third division).
