Race Report Fairlands Valley Challenge Sunday An off road and self navigated trail run through the picturesque Hertfordshire countryside around Stevenage. There were no route markings whatsoever and navigation was by map, route description (and following runners from the local Fairland Valley Spartans running club). There were half marathon, 18 mile, full marathon and 50k ultra options so care was needed to follow someone in the same distance race!  Water stations every 5 miles were appreciated as it reached 30 degrees. A few wrong turns added extra miles but it was a very enjoyable day out of the city. Next year will be the 25th and I will definitely be back for another go. Eamon-50k-08:12. Regents Park Summer League There was a brilliant turn out with 30 Chasers in the 10k, 6 in the tenderfoot and loads of marshals too. Thank you to everyone who ran and supported! See the Chasers facebook page for lots of photos from the event. Tea Rota We thought it would be good to get the tradition of post Tuesday run tea and juice firmly back on the cards. With this in mind, to give some help to the people who always find theselves the ones setting up the drinks or doing the washing up, we have created a Tea rota (please follow link).
