Upcoming Events There are a couple of upcoming athletics events, including one this Saturday (14 May). Please see links below to sign up. LONDON MARATHON 22 APRIL MARATHON RUNNERS- Please send Lola your name, marathon number, details about what you plan to wear (e.g. Chaser vest) and expected finishing time so that the cheering team is ready to spot you as you pass by on The Highway. CHEERING TEAM-The cheering team sets up from around 0800 on The Highway near the junction with Cannon Street Road opposite the BP garage and drive-thru McDonald's. We’d love to see as many chasers there as possible! We’d really appreciate it if a few people can come early to help to secure our spot. POST MARATHON CELEBRATIONS to be held at The Pineapple Pub Conservatory, Leverton Street, Kentish Town, from 1900 hours on 23 April and everyone is welcome to join in. Crystal Palace Triathlon The popular Crystal Palace Triathlon takes place on 13 May and this year it’s our first ever club triathlon championships. It’s a sprint distance on closed roads and with a pool swim, so suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced. When you enter, make sure you enter Mornington Chasers as your club so we can all start together and so we know who to give the prizes to.
