Mornington Chasers Newsletter
4 April 2016
Pub nights
A couple of dates for your diaries this week Chasers... On Tuesday we will be going to Tapping the Admiral for food, drinks and merriment. I've booked a table from 8.30 onwards. On Thursday we're having a bonus social at The Gipsy Queen. Plan is to jog there after track. I've heard the minted lamb toasties are to die for. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Except for you.

Committee meeting
The next committee meeting takes place TONIGHT, Monday 4 April in the upstairs room at The Grafton pub on Prince of Wales Road from 7pm. All members are welcome. Apologies for the short notice!

Brick training session
The monthly brick training session will take place this Saturday (9th April), meeting at 9am at Regent’s Park track. If you’re new to multi-sport, a brick session involves some cycling followed straight away by a bit of running. These sessions are open to ALL abilities – all you need is a bike and your running kit. There will be someone available to watch over your belongings while you train.
London Marathon Commercial Opportunity
We’ve been contacted by a casting director for an online commercial for a well known supermarket chain looking for people from all regions, backgrounds and abilities who are running in this year’s London Marathon. The job is paid £300 for a short piece to camera after the race on 24 April. Reply if interested and we’ll pass your details on.
Coached sessions this week
Tuesday’s coached session will be led by Andrea this week and details will be posted on the Mornington Chasers Facebook page in advance for anyone unable to attend.
On Thursday we will have a guest session at track, led by Urban Bettag. Urban will announce the content of the session on Facebook on Wednesday.
