Social secretary needed Sadly, Karl Baddeley is being transported to Australia in March, so we need to replace him as social secretary. The social secretary is vital to the club, and should be a well-organised person who is a keen participant in club social events. Please send applications and any enquiries to Alice at a.sullivan@ioe.ac.uk. Applications should be received by midnight on Tuesday 9th February (apologies for the short notice!), and should consist of a brief email, subject line ‘social secretary’, stating why you would like to do the role.  Results There’s been some confusion over the results that appear in the newsletter.  Here’s a reminder from the newsletter two weeks ago: “The calendar and results sections are now automatically generated from our website pages and the results are pulled from the Power of 10 website.  If you're not registered on Power of 10, or your race wasn't UK Athletics registered then your results may not appear.  Of course you can still email newsletter@chaser.me.uk to include your result or give us a race report.”  In addition to this, you can now submit your own results through the website for races that aren’t listed on Power of 10, as well as disable results being pulled from there at all if you wish.  To do this, go to the My Details section of the website – you can even log in with Facebook now to make things even faster (though you don’t have to – you can still log in the old way).  Race reports and recommendations can always still be emailed to newsletter@chaser.me.uk.  Thanks to volunteer John Armstrong for his hard work in trying to make the results process easier for everyone!  You may also have noticed the newsletter now goes out on Monday, which should mean more of the weekend’s results (though some may still be delayed, such as the Regent's Park 10K and the Watford Half this week!) can be included so you don’t have to wait a week to bask in the glory!  Met League Cross Country The final fixture in the Met League Cross Country takes place this weekend and it would be great to see lots Chasers there: Fixture No: 5 Date: 13 February 2016 Venue: Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London N22 7AY Race Headquarters: The Pavillion, North Middx Cricket Club, Park Rd, London N8 8JJ NUMBERS ISSUED FROM THE START/FINISH AREA Women start at 1.55pm and Men at 2.35pm And lastly, there will be a finalise party at 6pm at Victoria Stakes Pub dining room - 1 Muswell Hill, London N10 3TH Coached sessions this week Both the Tuesday and Thursday (hills) coached sessions will be led by Andrea this week and details will be posted on the Mornington Chasers Facebook page in advance for anyone unable to attend.  Also, to avoid any confusion, on Thursday 18 February there will be a coached session as usual (track) – the ‘Beermile’ is a separate event.    Calendar Here's whats happening over the next few weeks other than our usual Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday runs.
