It's that time of year again where members can apply for a club place in the London Marathon in April. To apply, send an email to Alice at A.Sullivan@ioe.ac.uk by the end of Monday 21 December with a supporting statement which should include the following:
1. Proof that you applied for a ballot place
2. Length of club membership (must be at least one full year to be eligible)
3. Service to the club (marshalling, tea, volunteering, etc)
4. Participation in the club (e.g. racing in club events such as xc, summer league, athletics, attending social events).

You must also be fully paid up first claim Mornington Chasers member and not have used a club place within the last three years.

More details can be found at http://www.chaser.me.uk/racing/londonmarathon.shtml

The Talacre Centre will close early over the Christmas period and therefore there will be no club runs on 22nd, 24th, 29th or 31st January. We'll be back on Tuesday 5th January.

Dates for the indoor track season are on the website at http://www.chaser.me.uk/docs/2015/indoorseason.pdf

Members are needed to marshal the next three races in our winter series. These races are essential to help keep our membership fees low and provide the many benefits that we all enjoy. And if you need an extra incentive above the warm feeling that volunteering and cheering the runners provides, you also get free entry to one of the races. Marshalling is just one of the many ways you can be involved with the club. You can now sign up and see how many marshalls are still needed for each month on the website at http://www.chaser.me.uk/news/calendar.php

No sessions on Tuesday or Thursday
Sunday morning long runs - see Facebook for paces/distances
For more details about runs, cycle rides plus our couch to 5K programme for non-members please see the club website or Facebook page.

To include your results in the newsletter please email newsletter@chaser.me.uk with the details. A brief description of what you thought of the race and if you would recommend it to others would be great too, but not essential. There is no need to send results from Club races such as Summer League, Southern Athletics League and Start Fitness Metropolitan Cross Country League as these are gathered by the team captains/event managers.

You can now also see a selection of results on the website at https://www.chaser.me.uk/news/results.php
