TRIATHLON CLUB MEETING

Monday 7th Dec, 7.30pm, The Grafton Arms (Prince of Wales Road)
This will be an opportunity to meet up, discuss the 2016 season, and plan ways in which we can train together and develop our team. There has been some discussion of organising brick sessions, bike sessions and swim coaching between us and so this is an opportunity to find out how you can help build this part of the club.

The meeting is open to any Chasers interested, regardless of whether or not you have taken part in any multi-sport events.

INDOOR TRACK SEASON

Further to last week's indoor track season update, you can now find all the dates on the website at http://www.chaser.me.uk/docs/2015/indoorseason.pdf

CLUB WINTER SERIES 10K IN REGENT'S PARK
Members are needed to marshal the next four races in our winter series. These races are essential to help keep our membership fees low and provide the many benefits that we all enjoy. And if you need an extra incentive above the warm feeling that volunteering and cheering the runners provides, you also get free entry to one of the races. Marshalling is just one of the many ways you can be involved with the club. Please let Alice know on A.Sullivan@ioe.ac.uk if you would like to volunteer.

THIS WEEK'S SESSIONS:
Tuesday - Coached session with Andrea - based around maintaining effort on hills and technically looking at how to run down hill. Great if people could leave their bags at Talacre and jog over to Primrose Hill with the group.
	 - Various pace runs at various distances
	 - Couch to 5K
Thursday - Track with Andrea - continuing to build on recent sessions, this week 7 x 800m alternating between threshold and 5K pace (90s). For members working on shorter distance training 2 x (6 x 200 at 1500 pace) with 200m very slow jog recoveries and full lap jog between sets.
Sunday morning long run - see Facebook for paces/distances
The coached session details are usually posted on our Facebook page on the day.
For more details about runs on Tuesdays and across the week, cycle rides and reps plus our couch to 5K programme for non-members please see the club website or Facebook page.

RACE RESULTS
To include your results in the newsletter please email newsletter@chaser.me.uk with the details. A brief description of what you thought of the race and if you would recommend it to others would be great too, but not essential. There is no need to send results from Club races such as Summer League, Southern Athletics League and Start Fitness Metropolitan Cross Country League as these are gathered by the team captains/event managers.

You can now also see a selection of results on a new page on the website at https://www.chaser.me.uk/news/results.php
