What's on in Mornington Chasers?
and Sunday runs
are taking place with small groups running
together in line with government advice.
- We have coached sessions on
at Parliament Hill Track.
- We have a Zoom Pilates
class on Mondays
- We are running Beginner
sessions for novice runners.
- We have been participating in Virtual Races
and are starting to take part in, and organize our own, socially-distanced
events. See the newsletter for
details of what we have planned.
We need volunteers to organize socially-distanced events as there
are many less races than usual. Please contact Nikolas Stephan
if you would like to organize an event.
We have extended everyone in the club's membership to last till
the end of March 2021.
Since all our training currently requires members to sign up in
advance, we are asking anyone who wishes to try out the club
to obtain a £5 temporary membership. You can
then request a £5 discount on full membership if you decide
Regent's Park 10K
We do not know whether it will be possible to run any of our
regular Regent's Park 10K races. Rather than take entries for races that may
not happen, we have set up a mailing list that you can sign up to so that
you are informed once entries open and get priority entry.
We are looking into the possibility of organising alternative
events designed around social distancing.
You can sign up for this mailing list here.
Ouf welfare office, Laurie, is acting as club coronavirus officer.
She is the person to contact if you have any questions about
our club's approach to coronavirus or if you fall ill and need
to inform people you have run with. You can contact her here.
