It all builds to a half marathon in November - St Neots if you are already booked in, or the Grand Union Canal half marathon if you haven't got a St Neots place. You can test your progress at the club 10k championship which takes place in our own Regent's Park race in November.  You can find the schedule here.  Pub night It's pub night tomorrow. I've booked the tables at Tapping the Admiral from 8.30 onwards. Get your pie orders in fast. It’s a ten stage relay, mostly on gentle trails, through the chocolate-box countryside of John Constable. Three of us enjoyed their leg so much they had to another. The team came 14th overall in a field of 59, helped by Russ Hall winning his leg, John Armstrong coming second in his. It’s a free race, organized by a number of Essex running clubs and attracts runners of all abilities. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Next year’s race will be 3rd September 2017 – so get it in the diary now! Maidenhead Half Marathon, 4 September A bunch of Chasers did Maidenhead half yesterday. This is John Mehrzad and Myles Preston after the race. John got a huge PB and was delighted!
